This voice gives him strength to be the best that he can be, and leaves him wondering if perhaps that is the voice he should hear all the time.As the young man starts to learn about his new life in Paris, he discovers a new friend, a guide, named Father. The young man initially feels a b it embarrassed and timid around Father, but he soon finds that he has found his calling. When one of his classmates commits suicide, the young man is called upon to perform the only ritual that can save the other student. Father intervenes and saves the boy from suicide. The boy turns out to be mute and Father uses this knowledge to his advantage, deducing that the boy is the only one who can help them.In essay topics for the night, this book is described as being more lighthearted than it really is. Themes like acceptance and the meaning of life run throughout, but at times you feel like the tone of the story is lost somewhere. The story can become too cute at times, which could be a downer at times, but then again, it does offer quite a bit of amusement to the reader.One thing that I really enjoyed about Night by Elie Wiesel was the fact that Wiesel kept the narrator in the background, while the story was told by Father. The narration provided by the narrator is actually quite str ong, but I think the real story was told by Father. The narrator's perspective is just about three-quarters of the book, so the reader gets a nice taste of the inner workings of both the narrator and the deceased.I would have liked to have seen more emphasis placed on the negative sides of the narrator and the way he talked to the young man. I think that I would have enjoyed the narration more if more effort had been made to show the poor way in which Father treated the child. I understand that the narrator can't be heard all the time, but in an essay topic for night essay, where it should be said that the reader can't hear the writer, it's important to make the reader understand who they are talking to. Father's manner of speaking to the boy was not exactly pleasant, but Father's point of view is still the story.Night by Elie Wiesel is an excellent essay topic for the night. The characters are well-developed and all of the chapters have some kind of interesting thread, whether it's about hope or what it means to be human, or a matter of how society deals with its problems. It's a fun read, just as it is an essay topic for the night.Night by Elie Wiesel is a book that I enjoyed reading. I learned a lot from the story, but I don't think I would have enjoyed the story any more if I'd read it with the narration removed.
